Recent work
Over 2008 and 2009, Micheline McKay has successfully worked with the Ontario Museum Association, Soulpepper, the ABC Canada Literacy Foundation and the Ontario Literacy Coalition (the latter two in collaboration with Everson Public Affairs) on government relations. She undertook organizational development projects with the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors, Folk Alliance Canada and the Ontario Association of Art Galleries (with Carrie Brooks-Joiner and Assoc.) Micheline has delivered advocacy workshops for the Canadian and Provincial Arts Funders and the Professional Association of Canadian Theatre and made public policy presentations to the Ontario Museum Association.
Research projects include:
- a study into the Creative Capacity in Canadian Rural and Remote Communities for the Creative Cities Network (with Carrie Brooks-Joiner and Assoc.);
- stakeholder interviews for future of Casa Loma, for the City of Toronto (with Jennifer Ginder); and
- a report on the potential for an affinity group to serve Canadian grantmakers (in collaboration with Jennifer Ginder) A second study for the same client group researched the operations of affinity groups in Canada and abroad.
